This artwork was created with a special piece of poetry I wrote in 2021. It's about a girl who is too diving into her own world, into her books and the knowledge ocean. She didn't know that outside of her room has so many beautiful flowers. She cannot hear, she cannot talk, she cannot do anything. Because in a society where individualism and free speech aren't allowed, she cannot talk anything, she just can observe. 

Here is the poetry:

I don't use my eyes to look,

Because I'm afraid of hurting myself.

I don't use my ears to listen,

Because I'm afraid of becoming a hypocrite.

Looking at the world through pages of books,

Longing to touch a way

Some way of life

Some way of hope.

Looking out of the window frame,

Seeing wild flowers bobbing up and down,

The wind smiles wryly,

"How can you be like me?"

The wind speaks the truth, doesn't it?

Freedom is truly beautiful.

I cannot use my eyes,

Nor can I use my ears.

Love.

The Wind Speaks The Truth marks a moment in our own history in the meantime when we are living in the spinning of the planet what just changing in the speedy pace than it ever happen.

There was a time when we are seeking for the artistic expression, a painting like a girl reading by the window still hang in my mind like something was abnormal but is felt long gone in the same time which is bluely sad, and listening to the whispers of the wind were deeply intertwined with the lives of many young girls generation. As the time has passes, I kind of get goosebumps thinking about how that era is slipping away—yet the paint stay here, standing as a demonstration for a time of human we been crave for engage, to feel, to observe the moving of the world around us. That's incredible.

This artwork carries the story of a girl—one who is brave, whose voice doesn’t need words, whose presence is imprinted in the piece. Is that creating the image of someone been slip over your life?

In the poetry standwithin the painting, Phuong express the way the wind speaks for freedom what’s always exists in the air, only when we would stop and feel it.

Like a butterfly effect, you never know how much an artwork effecting you, you absorb something is will be your whole life around this, and we never expect a cheap, a lame story come to our life, don't you? and it change completely who you are the story of the person you gonna become, since you choose it. And Phuong bring this such of beautiful thing to us, what Artists does, and the way they goes is all of spite of blood and tears, they challenging the reality, the political statement, the conventional wisdom, the abnormal people value all of that to bring the true value put it in here. Do you understand that?

So, it take you out of your limit. The limit of usual life in life out, the limit of conversation that can't reach out of wisdom, the limit that when it unlocked you are be the one you always deserve, who you always capable of. That's the power of creativity.
