They need more encouragement and mental support than some knowledge that you throw at them.

Write first, judge later.

Keep your authentic voice and write anything you want every day. Write and write. You never know what you will create.

When you look back at your first draft, you might say it's trash. But you know what? You have something to edit better than a blank space.

And when you're willing to write a shitty story, you will somehow catch a great story. But when you just aim to be "good," you will lose the opportunity to meet up with your genius.

The "hit" story is an accident. There is no method for it.

So, freestyle. And write!
