Why Are You Afraid of Authority?
Author by Minh nguyen
Today, I felt the same rush of emotions as the first time I published my YouTube video. When I launched it, the chaos of emotions surged—doubt crept in. That’s when I started questioning my commitment. It felt very real. But then, it’s ON. Or at least, I believe some part of my subconscious was blocking my way.
Social media in our time was once a space of freedom. But now, maybe it’s just another mundane world where the older generation is stepping in. Some of us are afraid to express ourselves, afraid to show who we are. We remain anonymous for safety, hesitant to stand for ourselves, afraid of being wrong. Some old, bitter boomer with limited experience in his small world tries to break our spirit, tries to tell us we are useless, imposing his outdated thoughts onto us. They invade YouTube, Facebook—everywhere they go turns into a wasteland. Ads flood every space, selling their fears. They are the ones truly afraid of authority. They whine, they complain, and when it truly matters, they spam nonsense instead of taking action.
The system they created was built to maintain their power, while in reality, they are useless. They build nothing but their own cages, living without respect. When their parents die, they claim whatever land is left and squeeze it dry. Every piece of it was made off our backs, yet they call it their own.
And that’s how they make you afraid. They want you to be a loser like them.
Now, conflict slows you down, keeping you from stepping into your own authority. You hesitate, afraid to break free, afraid to claim your place.
The answer? Forget that fear. Just do it. Stop waiting. The moment you read this, nothing is stopping you—except them. First, they try to crush your will so they can take advantage of you. Then, they pretend to be your allies while using everything they’ve learned about you against you. You were never meant to follow them. You were never meant to submit to their rules.
And third? If you hide and still make it, they will pretend you don’t exist. They will struggle in their small, miserable lives, and they won’t stop you. But the moment you seek advice from them, you become them.
Authority is your choice. You still have time to decide whether to live under their control or claim your own path. But if you’re happy being stuck with them, fine. They will just pull you in to validate their choices, to make themselves feel like their lives weren’t wasted.
But if you choose to stop this cycle and follow your fate—then this is the place. Or, you create it on your own.
