Again - Yui | Fullmetal Alchemist review
Author by Minh nguyen
From one of the most legendary anime series, famous for its Edward brothers and the principle of Equivalent Exchange, Fullmetal Alchemist has always carried a depth of philosophical and psychological complexity that I couldn’t fully understand when I watched it as a kid.
From the 7 deadly sins of humans to the vengeance of Mustang, the seeking truth of the Father, and the eternal struggle against fate of the University's law of Edward's brother. Why do we keep searching? Why do we chase after what we believe is important? And what happens when arrogance defies the laws of nature—especially the ultimate law of death?
Today, Again by YUI played in my head. That song, once just a melody I enjoyed, now resonates differently with me. Maybe it’s trying to tell me something—about fate, about chemistry I don’t yet understand. But art, like this song and this story, never fades. It evolves with time, continuing to shape and inspire us.
It’s strange how a song can transport you back to a moment years ago—the first time I truly decided to live my life. I ran forward, feeling every lyric as if it were written for my own journey. Even after all these years, the emotions haven’t faded. They remind me of who I was, what I’ve fought for, and the dreams I still have to fulfill.
まだ人生は長いでしょ? (Mada jinsei nagai deshou?)
Life is still long, isn’t it?
